About the riding
Surrey-Cloverdale takes in Clayton and the Cloverdale town centre (southeast Surrey; Highway 15 on the west, Township of Langley on the east, 88 Avenue on the north).
In 2024, Elenore Sturko (BC Conservatives) won here by 586 votes, 2.8 points.
Elenore Sturko (elected as Conservative) was removed from the Conservative caucus on Sept 22, 2025 and sat as an independent, then joined CentreBC on Sept 18, 2026 and became its leader on Sept 22, 2026. Wikipedia lists her as CentreBC at dissolution; BC Election Guide lists her as Independent. She is running in Surrey South, not here. No sitting MLA is on the Cloverdale ballot.
